B: Posting ini adalah sekilas info tentang kondisi hari ini berkaitan dengan rencana Red-Shirt (UDD), pendukung Thaksin, berdemo besar-besaran di Bangkok pada Minggu (14 Maret 2010) mendatang yang akan terkonsentrasi di Sanam Luang. E: This piece is a brief update about the current situation approaching the D-day of Red-Shirt rally against the government in Bangkok which will take place on next Sunday (March 14, 2010) expectedly at Sanam Luang.

  • Massa Red-Shirt di luar Bangkok mulai bergerak Jumat 12/3 menuju Bangkok. Massa dari berbagai provinsi akan berkumpul dan berdemo besar-besaran di Bangkok hari Minggu 14/3.
  • ISA (internal security act) akan diterapkan 11-23 Mar.
  • Red-Shirt mematok target menggulingkan pemerintahan dalam waktu maksimum 3 hari.
  • 70% sopir taksi di Bangkok akan ikut serta dalam demo meski mayoritas operator taksi akan melarang sopir taksi mereka untuk beroperasi antara Jumat-Minggu (12-14 Maret).
  • Phuea Thai Party (pendukung Thaksin) menengarai ada sekelompok politisi yg membuat pusat perintah di London untuk membuat gangguan bertepatan dengan demo Red-Shirt, mengambil kesempatan itu agar publik menyalahkan Red-Shirt. Target gagguan: Siriraj Hospital, Rajvithi Hospital, dan masjid umat Islam di Bangkok (berita ini masih diragukan).

  • Some Red-Shirt groups will make mass concentrations in some ‘pockets’ near Bangkok on March 12 (Friday), before converge in Bangkok to hold a massive rally against the government on March 14 (Sunday).
  • ISA (Internal Security Act) will be implemented from 11-23 of March.
  • The Red-Shirt will not settle for anything less than a complete victory in three days.
  • About 70 % of taxi drivers in Bangkok have already confirmed they would take part in the mass rally even though a majority of taxi operators might not allow them to rent the vehicles between Friday and Sunday.
  • Pheu Thai MP Chalerm Yoobamrung on Tuesday claimed that a political group set up its command centre in London to stir up trouble coinciding with the red-shirt rally. Targets for disturbance include Siriraj Hospital, Rajvithi Hospital and Islamic mosques located in Bangkok.
